Throughout this time, the Launceston track hosts around five major meetings where great Launceston races such as the Listed Tasmanian Oaks (2100m) and the Tasmanian Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) light up the track.
Launceston racecourse is looked after by the Tasmanian Turf Club and was previously named Tasman Park but is now officially called the TOTE Racing Centre.
Located around three kilometres outside the Launceston city centre, the TOTE Racing Centre hosts approximately 25 race meetings a year.

Launceston races take place on a track that has a 1830m circumference and an extremely short 230m straight. Racing direction is anti-clockwise.
